This is his first (self published) book showing works from his series "Snapshot Beauties" for which he used analogue one way cameras from Kodak.
After finishing the series "Snapshot Beauties", which got exhibited in a solo show at Carpentier Galerie in Berin in 2013, he continued with nude and erotic photography in his series "Bloom of Youth" and "Bloom of Youth 2". Both new project got exhibited in smaler exhibitions and will be published as books in 2019. Some works of "Bloom of Youth 2" were presented in a solo catalogue published by Carpentier Galerie Berlin in 2016.
Currently Jens Pepper works on new projects using Fuji Instax Wide instant film as well as digital cameras.

Parallel to his photographic work he is writing about photography for German and Polish magazines like PHOTONEWS, KUNSTZEITUNG, brennpunkt and DOC! photo magazine. 2017 he published a book on the contemporary Polish photo scene "Gespräche über polnische Fotografie". Interviews with photographers, photo dealers, critics etc. you may find on his blog Obstundmuse.com. Once a month he hosts the "Pepper's Photo Chat Live" at a bar in Berlin.
